What is the most unusual food you have ever eaten?

I had squid the other day for the first time. Never again. I tried grasshoppers, bumble bees and octopus, no more of those for me either! The most unusual thing for me was something that I have never heard of anyone else eating; cat. In 1976, my best friend, Tom Kerley went cougar hunting in Northeastern Oregon with his Dad and another guy. They use hounds and they track and tree the big mountain lions. Tom brought me a two pound package of steaks and a two pound roast. You would never guess that it was cat. I fixed a meal of the steaks and had friends over and they loved it too. I had some other friends over and we ate the roast, once again it was thumbs way up with everyone. It is like pork, very tender and a very good flavor. Never pass up an opportunity to eat cougar, it is delicious. I love cats, so it is a little odd to eat one. I never saw the big kitty alive, so that was an advantage. The cougar had been killing livestock, so they were hired by the State to track and kill it.
