Why does my dog run away from me?

i dont mean this rudely but it could be your smell or something? when i put nail varnish on my nails (everynight i put a different colour on) my little staffie runs away from like im a diseased freak! i bribe him with treats to come near me but hes scared of the smell i think it irritates him. try different things with your puppy, like treating him everytime he comes close to you or praise him when he comes to your command :) x
